1. Who is responsible
Leeroy Servers publishes Blockyard and this website. For privacy questions or requests, use the contact options at blockyard.site. This policy describes the current early-access release and this website; it does not cover third-party server plugins, mods, websites or services.
2. What stays on your device
Blockyard stores server names and settings, server files and worlds, installed Java runtimes, server icons, and related configuration in its application-data folder. On Windows this is normally under %APPDATA%\blockyard\blockyard. On macOS it is under ~/Library/Application Support/Blockyard/blockyard. Your chosen Java path and appearance preference are stored there too.
The app shows server console output and player information such as usernames, UUIDs, online status, whitelist and ban entries, reasons and operator status. Minecraft and any plugins you install may write additional logs, player IP addresses or other information to the server’s files. As the person running the server, you decide how those files are used, secured, shared and deleted. Blockyard does not automatically send them to Leeroy Servers.
3. Connections made by the app
To show available versions and create servers, Blockyard contacts Mojang/Microsoft’s version and download services, PaperMC’s download API, and Eclipse Adoptium and its download hosts for Java. Player-name lookups may contact Mojang’s profile service. These providers receive your IP address, normal request metadata and, where relevant, a queried Minecraft username. They apply their own privacy policies and may process data in other countries.
While a server runs, Blockyard reads its console and makes status queries to that server to update player information. If you enable UPnP, it communicates with your router to request a temporary port mapping. Minecraft itself connects players and may contact authentication services. Your ISP, router and chosen server software operate independently of Blockyard.
4. Visiting and downloading from this website
This website has no advertising or custom analytics scripts, sign-up form or mailing list. We store an appearance preference in your browser’s local storage only if you choose a theme. You can remove it through your browser’s site-data controls. Download acknowledgements and progress stay in the current browser window; the site does not send them to a Blockyard database.
The hosting and content-delivery providers necessarily receive connection information such as your IP address, requested URL, time, browser headers and download requests. They may process security and operational logs and use necessary platform cookies. Their retention periods and infrastructure locations are governed by their service policies; we do not promise a particular log-deletion date or that the hosting layer is cookie-free. If the hosting platform requires sign-in, that platform handles the account information.
5. Why information is processed
Device data is used to carry out the server-management actions you request. Connection data is used to deliver pages and downloads, obtain software and player information, and keep services secure. Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis for processing by Leeroy Servers, these purposes are our legitimate interests in providing and securing the service, subject to your rights, and performing any applicable agreement with you. We do not sell personal data or use it for behavioural advertising.
6. Retention, deletion and your choices
Server data remains on your computer until you delete it. Uninstalling Blockyard is designed to retain that data. Back up anything important before removing files. You can disable UPnP, use a manually supplied server JAR or Java installation, and avoid features that require optional lookups. Network-based version discovery and software downloads require the relevant providers.
If Leeroy Servers holds personal information about you, applicable law may give you rights to access, correct, delete or restrict it, object to processing, or request portability. Contact us through blockyard.site. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority. Leeroy Servers cannot delete files held only on your computer or control another provider’s records.
7. Children, security and changes
The website does not ask visitors for their age or collect child profiles. If you are a child, involve a parent or guardian before exposing a server to the internet or sharing player information. Early-access software may contain security bugs; no system is guaranteed secure. This policy is a description of data practices, not a disclaimer that removes privacy rights. We will update this page and its effective date when these practices change.
